Much of the UK will be dry and overcast today, with temperatures higher than they have been recently. High pressure will keep things mostly settled in the coming days, but temperatures in central and eastern England could begin to dip again. Bright spells are likely in the south this morning, but it will become increasingly overcast by the afternoon. Other areas will see a lot of cloud, with drizzly conditions at times, especially in Wales and northwestern Britain. Quite windy in northern Scotland.

Tonight not much changes. Drizzle remains a risk, particularly in the west. Cloud breaks are more likely in the east which is where the lowest temperatures are expected. In one or two spots it could get cold enough for a touch of frost.
Tomorrow, sunny spells are more likely in the north, although cloud and outbreaks of rain may push into the far northwest. Southern and central areas are expected to have mostly dry and overcast conditions. It will be quite mild overall.

The next few days will bring predominantly dry weather, although there could be patchy outbreaks of rain in the north at times. Temperatures will remain above average in the north and west. However, in the south and east they may dip, and the nights could be quite chilly.
