High pressure remains dominant but a weak weather front clearing southwards is introducing clearer air, at least for a time. Therefore, a reasonable amount of sunshine is likely today, with some places seeing bright skies for the first time this month. Towards the end of the coming week a plunge of Arctic air may bring colder conditions. (If you would like to browse the website without adverts and access premium features, see below)
Issued 7th November 2024
Isolated showers are possible in the south today, but in most of the UK it will be completely dry. However, there will be a notable difference with the weather in recent days! That is there will be a lot less cloud than there has been for most of November so far, allowing sunny spells to develop widely.
Temperatures range from 8°C to 13°C. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight cloud amounts increase in the north west. In other areas clear periods allow temperatures to dip and quite a widespread ground frost forms by the morning.
Tomorrow is looking mostly dry and bright, with the possible exception of the far south east where they could be showery spells of rain. Temperatures will be similar to today's.

High pressure keeps things settled during the next few days. Temperatures don't vary a great deal, but cloud amounts are likely to increase again. Towards the end of the week much colder air may begin to push southwards. Computer models are showing a wide range of scenarios, so this is only a possibility at the moment.
