The broadscale picture being currently forecast by medium range computer models is unusually consistent. Usually a range of outcomes is offered when looking more than about five days ahead, but at the moment the main models all show high pressure remaining dominant in most of the UK. The exception is the north west, where more of an Atlantic influence leads to a risk of some rain in the days ahead. UK Met UKV, Monday 4th November [Tap animation to toggle cities]
The next few days see very little change in most areas, with the exception of the north west where disturbances from the Atlantic could bring some rain on Tuesday and Wednesday. High pressure is forecast to remain the dominant feature of the weather. through the rest of the week, therefore it will be mostly dry. Temperatures will depend on cloud amounts to a large extent. Clearer skies mean warmer days but colder nights.
