Tonight, the area of rain slowly pushes southwards and eastwards. In the south the rain will generally be light, but in central and northern regions further heavy bursts are likely. By morning the wet area is expected to be focused on central England, with mostly dry conditions to its west and east.

Tomorrow, the rain gradually clears eastwards. However, it may linger in the south eastern corner and East Anglia well into the afternoon, perhaps pepping up at times. Blustery and showery spells of rain push into the north west of the UK, but in other areas it will be dry and bright.
