Wet weather pushes eastwards across parts of the south today and there will be some heavy bursts of rain mixed in. The north has showers, but in central areas it remains mostly dry. The next few days look quite mixed, although by Sunday it is likely to be drier and warmer. Heavy outbreaks of rain move eastwards across southern counties today. They will probably also push slightly further north, perhaps reaching the Chilterns and parts of East Anglia. Showers also affect the north, with more persistent rain reaching Northern Ireland this afternoon. The driest and warmest conditions are expected to be in Wales and central areas of England.
Temperatures range from 14°C in the north west to 23°C in central Britain. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight, the remnants of the rain clear from southern counties and the wet conditions in the north west steadily push eastwards. By the morning it should be dry in most of the UK, with the exception of the north west where further showers are likely.
Tomorrow isolated showers could bubble up in southern and central regions, but it should be mostly dry. In the north showers will be more frequent and some could be heavy. Temperatures on the low side for the time of the year.

The following days see a trend towards drier and warmer conditions, with showers fading away. This means by Sunday temperatures are likely to reach the mid 20Cs in southern and central regions. Monday is forecast to be fine in much of the UK, although a band of rain is expected to push into the north west.
