Patchy outbreaks of rain clear southwards this morning to leave sunny spells and scattered showers. The mixed theme continues in the following days, with a risk of showers or longer spells of rain. That said, there will be some warm periods of sunshine too, particularly in the south. Showery outbreaks of rain in southern and central counties clear southeastwards this morning. All regions then have bright spells, but there will be showers dotted around. In the afternoon sunshine it will feel warm.
Temperatures range from 17°C in the north west to 25°C in the south. Check the weather radar for the most up to date view.

Tonight, light bursts of rain push into the north west. In other areas it remains dry.
Tomorrow patchy spells of rain push across Northern Ireland and Scotland. In England and Wales it remains dry and bright. It will be warm, temperatures could reach 27C in a few locations in southern Britain.

Changeable weather continues through the following days. During Thursday a weather front pushing in from the Atlantic brings a risk of rain to the north west, and it could turn wet in the far south too. On Friday it could be wet again in the north west and outbreaks of rain may approach the south east. Details for the weekend are very uncertain, but some computer models are showing very wet and cool conditions on Saturday.
