Outbreaks of rain clear eastwards today leaving brighter and showery conditions in their wake. During the next few days there should be a lot of dry weather in southern and eastern counties, and it is set to become significantly warmer than recently. By the weekend a more unsettled pattern may be sinking southwards again, but forecast details are uncertain. Outbreaks of rain in central areas of Britain clear eastwards by the early afternoon. All regions then have sunny spells, but there will be heavy showers too. The worst of them are likely in central and eastern counties, the west and Northern Ireland remain drier.

Tonight the showers fade away to leave dry conditions across the vast bulk of the UK. However, patchy outbreaks of rain could push into western Scotland by the morning.
Tomorrow, is looking dry, bright and quite warm in most areas. In southern and central counties temperatures may reach 24°C. The exception is likely to be the far north west where thicker cloud could continue to bring light bursts of rain.

The following days see a change in the weather. Southern and central regions will often be dry, sunny and warm. By Friday temperatures could reach 27°C in the south east. in the north and particularly the north west conditions remain more mixed, with outbreaks of rain at times. By the weekend things become more uncertain, but unsettled weather could be extending southwards once again.
