Tonight, patchy spells of rain continue to affect western Scotland. Elsewhere, it remains dry and there will be clear periods.
Tomorrow, it's a similar picture in most of the UK and if anything temperatures are likely to be a little higher. It's possible that 30°C will be reached for the first time this year. However, in Scotland showery outbreaks of rain become heavier and more widespread, possibly extending into the far north of England in the afternoon.

The very warm of hot weather continues on Wednesday in much of the UK, but once again there could be showers in the north. During the following days a transition to cooler and more changeable conditions is expected to take place. The details are uncertain, with some computer models continuing to show a good deal of fine periods, particularly in the south.
