Tomorrow brings showers to much of the UK and in eastern England there could be longer outbreaks of rain for a time. Despite that, sunny spells develop quite widely, particularly later in the afternoon. Rather cool and windy.

Changeable outlook

During Wednesday a band of rain pushes southeastwards and fragments. Brighter and showery conditions follow from the west. Temperatures should be close to the norm, but it will be windy.

Thursday is likely to be showery in the north. Across central and southern counties it may be mostly overcast with patchy spells of rain.

Friday is looking dry in much of the UK, although there could be scattered showers in the north. In the south it probably will be a little warmer than in recent days.
