Temperatures dip

During Saturday wet weather steadily clears eastwards, but rain could continue in East Anglia and northern Scotland until the middle of the afternoon. Temperatures continue to dip and it will feel noticeably cooler.

Through Sunday another batch of wet and windy weather moves across much of the UK, but the northern half of Scotland may stay dry. Quite chilly, especially in the north.

The first half of next week is looking changeable. All regions can expect showers or longer spells of rain. Over high ground in the north there is an increasing risk of sleet or snow. Rather cold.
