The mixed weather continues through the coming days. Today and tomorrow showers will be scattered but heavy in places. During Thursday an area of low pressure moves in from the Atlantic and it brings the likelihood of longer spells of rain. Rather unsettled conditions continue this weekend.

Tuesday starts mainly dry. Through the day showers develop and they become quite widespread. A few could be heavy. Despite that there will be sunny spells too.
Temperatures range from 15C (59F) in the north west to 22C (72F) in eastern England. See the rain and lightning radar for the latest view.
Tonight showers fade away. Clear spells allow temperatures to dip down to single figures in places.

Tomorrow brings sunny spells but showers return and some will be heavy. Temperatures should be a little higher than in recent days.
During Thursday showery outbreaks of rain affect much of the UK. In places they could be heavy and prolonged. Generally cool.
Friday brings a mix of sunny intervals and showers to southern and central regions. In the north there is a risk of longer periods of rain. Remaining rather cool, although it should feel pleasantly warm in sunny spells.
Unsettled weather continues through the weekend. All regions can expect further showers or longer spells of rain. There will be drier and brighter periods too, with the best of them probably on Sunday. Temperatures stay below the seasonal average.
