Change next week

Outbreaks of rain move eastwards on Sunday. Brighter skies follow but in the afternoon another area of wet weather spreads across Northern Ireland and into western Britain. It will be windy.

Through Monday morning outbreaks of rain clear southeastwards. The afternoon brings a mix of sunny spells and blustery showers. In the north it will be quite cold but it remains mild in the south east.

Showery conditions continue on Tuesday but by Wednesday a change starts to take place as high pressure builds in from the west. It brings drier conditions with an increasing risk of frost and fog.
