More settled in the south

Sunday should be dry and warm in much of the country. Temperatures could reach the mid 20Cs in the south east. In Northern Ireland outbreaks of rain push in from the Atlantic and later in the day they also reach western Scotland.

During Monday a band of rain moves southeastwards and fragments. Areas to the south of London probably remain dry. Brighter and showery conditions follow in northern areas.

The rest of the week should bring quite a lot of dry and warm weather to the southern half of the country. In the north it is expected to stay more changeable with an ongoing risk of showers or longer spells of rain.
