All of the UK has mixed weather during the rest of the week with showers or longer spells of rain. It will be cool and windy for June. Forecast confidence in the longer term outlook is very low. Thursday starts with showery rain in northern and eastern areas of the UK. Through the day it extends southwards across much of the country but there will be bright spells too. Some heavy bursts of rain are likely, particularly in northern and eastern counties. Wales and the south west of England should have a lot of dry weather.
Temperatures range from 12C (54F) in the far north to 18C (64F) in London area. See the rain radar for the latest view.

Tonight showery rain continues in coastal counties as well as northern and eastern England. Elsewhere it becomes mainly dry with clear spells. It will be chilly, particularly in the north. In the Scottish glens frost is possible.

Tomorrow will be showery across southern and central regions. In the north showers become heavy and across Scotland more prolonged outbreaks of rain are expected. It will be very windy and cool with gales in the north.

During Saturday more persistent outbreaks of rain spread southwards across England and Wales. They could be heavy at times, particularly in the east. Brighter conditions follow from the north but another area of rain may push into Scotland. Cool and windy.
Sunday starts mostly dry and bright. Through the day showers bubble up but many places could miss them. In the south it will feel a little warmer and winds won't be as strong as they have been recently.
Early next week there should be more dry weather around as high pressure builds in from the west. In the longer term there is a lot of uncertainty.
