Changes next week

Friday is looking fine. Very warms sunny periods are expected and even in eastern Scotland 27C (81F) could be reached. It's a similar picture on Saturday.

By Sunday the risk of scattered showers could increase. Despite that it is set to be another very warm and sunny day in most of the country.

Early next week there are signs of change. High pressure may weaken and that leads to showers becoming more widespread. Later on there are signs of cooler air pushing southwards and more changeable conditions developing. At the moment forecast confidence is low.
