Fine Bank Holiday Monday

Bank Holiday Monday is expected to be mostly fine and warm. The exception is the far north west where outbreaks of rain are possible. Temperatures could reach 26C (78F) in the south and 23C (73F) in eastern Scotland.

Mainly settled and warm conditions continue through Tuesday and Wednesday, although an odd shower is possible. Forecast confidence for the rest of the week is not high. However, latest guidance suggests high pressure will continue to bring a good deal of dry and warm weather. There is a chance of it turning more changeable later on.
