Change this weekend

Friday should be mostly dry with frost early and late. Sunny spells develop widely and it will still feel pleasant in the afternoon sunshine.

Through the weekend cold Arctic air pushes southwards across all regions. Showers become quite widespread in the eastern half of the country and they could fall as snow even at low levels in the north. Farther south a wintry mix is possible. Nighttime frosts develop widely.
