Settled outlook

The dry weather continues on Sunday and there should be a reasonable amount of sunshine. It will be quite cold in central and eastern regions but in the west temperatures edge up a little. Frost will be widespread early and late.

Next week the settled period goes on in much of the country. The exception is likely to be the north west where Atlantic disturbances push in at times and bring a risk of rain. The days will be mostly dry with close to average temperatures but there will be nighttime frosts in places.
