Tomorrow morning the rain moves away eastwards and some sunny spells develop. The best of them are likely to be in southern and central regions. During Sunday outbreaks of rain slowly push southeastwards across England and Wales. They clear from the south eastern corner during the late afternoon or evening. Brighter and showery conditions follow.
Monday is looking dry and bright in much of the country. The exception is the north west where stronger winds and cloudier conditions could bring patchy outbreaks of rain.
Through the rest of the week high pressure should lead to a good deal of quiet weather. Nighttime frosts possibly become widespread but daytime temperatures probably won't be far off the seasonal average.
