Changeable outlook

Friday looks chilly and bright. There will be wintry showers with most of them in the north west.

The mixed weather continues this weekend. Saturday should be dry in central and eastern regions. In the west cloud builds and outbreaks of rain develop. They turn heavy later in the day and winds strengthen. The wet weather clears southeastwards on Sunday morning. It is followed by showery conditions and in the north it remains cold enough for snow over the hills.
