Monday starts dry in southern and eastern England as well as northern Scotland. In other areas there are outbreaks of heavy rain and snow. In the north outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow continue but they gradually become restricted to Scotland. Over high ground substantial accumulations of snow are likely.
Temperatures range from 3C (37F) in the north to 12C (54F) in southern and central areas. See the rain radar for the latest view.
