Milder and drier

During Saturday rain becomes confined to the north west of the UK. Elsewhere it is expected to be dry and mildish but often cloudy.

The risk of wet weather continues in Scotland and Northern Ireland on Sunday. Wales and England should be dry. Mild, particularly in the north.

Next week is looking changeable. Atlantic disturbances bring frequent wet spells to the north. At times they could push down across all regions but high pressure should keep southern counties drier. It is likely to be mild or very mild for much of the time.
