Change next week

On Sunday morning outbreaks of rain quickly clear from the southeastern corner. All regions then have sunny spells but showers become widespread in the west and some of them push eastwards through the day. Temperatures remain close to average in the south but it will be chilly in the north.

Monday is looking dry in much of the UK. The exceptions are the north west where showers continue and the south west where outbreaks of rain possibly develop.

Forecast details for the rest of the week are uncertain. Initially it probably remains changeable but later on high pressure  begins to have more influence so the chance of drier conditions increases.
