The next few days bring showers or longer spells of rain to most of the UK. Temperatures will generally be close to or a little above the seasonal average. Friday starts wet in much of the south and east. There are also showers in north western parts of the UK but in other areas it is mainly dry. Through the day outbreaks of rain in England slowly move away eastwards but some of them linger into the late afternoon. To the west and north there will be sunny spells and showers.
Temperatures range from 6C (42F) in the north to 11C (52F) in the south. See the rain radar for the latest view.

Tomorrow morning showery rain clears from eastern England. All areas then have sunny intervals but scattered showers are likely in the west. To the south of London outbreaks of rain return in the afternoon.

On Sunday morning outbreaks of rain quickly clear from the southeastern corner. All regions then have sunny spells but showers become widespread in the west and some of them push eastwards through the day. Temperatures remain close to average in the south but it will be chilly in the north.
Monday is looking dry in much of the UK. The exceptions are the north west where showers continue and the south west where outbreaks of rain possibly develop.
Forecast details for the rest of the week are uncertain. Initially it probably remains changeable but later on high pressure begins to have more influence so the chance of drier conditions increases.
