Unsettled weather continues

During Sunday further showery spells of rain are expected and over the Scottish hills sleet or snow is possible. Most are likely to be in the west but there could be some in southern coastal counties too. It will be very windy with gales in the west and along the south coast.

Monday probably starts wet but it should quickly turn drier and brighter. Temperatures won't be far from the seasonal average.

The rest of next week is looking unsettled and chilly at times. All regions have wet and windy spells and in the north it could be cold enough for snow on some days, especially over high ground.
