Possibly turning colder

During Monday showery spells of rain affect most areas. It will be quite windy and mild.

Tuesday starts with showers in the north but elsewhere it should be dry. During the course of the day another band of rain spreads northeastwards. Heavy showers follow into the south west.

The unsettled and mild weather continues during Wednesday. Through the rest of the week it probably turns colder. Nighttime frosts return and the risk of snow may increase in central and northern regions.
