Staying unsettled next week

During Sunday showery rain steadily spreads southwards but later in the day it becomes increasingly confined to southern and eastern counties. It will be cold with an early frost in the northern half of Scotland and possibly south eastern England.

Monday starts with a widespread frost in the north. In the south cloudier skies may hold temperatures several degrees above freezing point. The rest of the day is looking mainly dry and cold.

Through next week it stays quite unsettled. After a cold start temperatures probably recover, especially in the south.
