Mixed next week

Monday starts with a few showers in the north but it should be mainly dry and bright. Through the day further outbreaks of rain spread across England and Wales. They become heavy and possibly lead to localised flooding.

Further wet weather is likely in southern and central regions on Tuesday. In the north it turns colder and showery.

Wednesday is looking mainly dry and quite cold with the risk of frost in the north early and late. Scattered showers are expected and they may fall as sleet or snow over the Scottish mountains.
