Drier and warmer outlook probable

The rather mixed theme continues on Monday. Showers return and they probably become quite widespread. It will still be cool.

By Tuesday the showers probably become increasingly confined to central and northern counties as high pressure starts building from the southwest. Southern counties should have a lot of dry and bright weather.

During the rest of the week there is some uncertainty but the latest guidance suggests that drier and warmer conditions will spread northwards. High pressure is expected to build and it may keep things mostly fine through the Bank Holiday weekend.
