The rather mixed theme continues on Sunday. Showers develop again and they probably become quite widespread. It will still be quite cool.
It's more of the same on Monday and Tuesday. Most of the showers are likely to be in the north with drier and brighter conditions in the south.
By Wednesday high pressure is expected to be building from the southwest. It should bring a dry day to southern and central counties. In the north outbreaks of rain are possible.
Forecast confidence for the rest of the week is low. Most computer model runs in recent days have shown more settled conditions extending northwards. However the latest guidance is hinting at a more unsettled scenario.
