Winter 2019/20 weather [NEW]
Tomorrow south east England stays warm and sunny. Elsewhere there is a risk of heavy and possibly thundery showers. In Wales and the south west it should be drier in the afternoon. Temperatures could reach 27C (81F) in the south east.

During Monday rain probably pushes across southern England. Brighter conditions return from the west quite quickly, although it may stay wet in the south eastern corner into the afternoon. Elsewhere there will be showers, but later in the day they tend to fade away.
By Tuesday quite a deep area of low pressure is expected to be centred just to the northwest of the UK. It leads to showery and blustery weather in all of the country. The warmest and driest conditions will be in sheltered parts of the south east.
The rest of next week is looking changeable with the likelihood of wet weather at times. There will be drier and brighter periods too with the best of them in the south. Temperatures remain close to the seasonal average overall but in the south east could be warmer.
