Arpege forecast chart 2

Meteo France Arpege, rain, 16:00 BST Wed 29th May

Very warm weekend?

On Thursday heavy showers bubble up in central and northern areas. The south should be mainly fine and temperatures possibly climb to 21C (70F).

Friday brings further outbreaks of rain to the north and in the north west they could be heavy. Much of England should be dry. In the south and east it becomes warm in sunny spells.

Fine conditions should spread northwards this weekend. On Saturday showers continue in the north but they become more scattered. In the south a dry and warm day is probable. Sunday looks even warmer and there is a chance of temperatures pushing up into the upper 20Cs.

Cooler and showery weather is expected to return quickly next week.
