Summer 2019 weather [NEW]
Tomorrow southern and central regions have warm sunny periods but a few hefty showers could develop in the afternoon. In the north it clouds over after a bright start. Outbreaks of rain spread southeastwards across much of Scotland and Northern Ireland through the second half of the day.
Meteo France Arpege, rainr, 16:00 BST Sat 25th May
During Sunday a band of showery rain spreads southeastwards. It is expected to reach southern counties in the afternoon. Clearer and cooler conditions follow into much of the north, but persistent outbreaks of rain continue in Scotland for much of the day.
Bank Holiday Monday is expected to be showery. There will be sunny periods too with the best of them probably in southern counties. Temperatures will be lower than recent days. However it should still feel warm in the sun, especially in the south.
The cool and changeable theme is expected to continue through the rest of next week.
