Buzz

Tomorrow central, eastern and northern areas have a mainly fine day. An odd shower is possible in the south but cloud should break more widely than today and in sunny spells it feels warm. Northern Ireland, Wales and the south west stay mainly overcast and damp.

Bank Holiday uncertainty returns

Tuesday looks dry and quite warm in much of Britain. In Northern Ireland a band of rain pushes in from the Atlantic and later in the afternoon it may extend into parts of western Britain. Cloud ahead of it could spill eastwards.

During Wednesday the rain edges eastwards but it becomes increasingly showery. South east England and East Anglia may hang on to warm and dry conditions. In the west there is a possibility of it turning wet and windy later on.

There is uncertainty about the longer term outlook. Computer models are suggesting cooler and changeable weather on Thursday and Friday. A signal for more settled weather during the Bank Holiday weekend remains, however the latest data is more mixed and favours closer to average temperatures.
