Tomorrow England and Wales will be dry and bright. Scotland and Northern Ireland have cloudier skies and in the far north there could be some patchy rain. After a chilly start it feels pleasantly warm in the sunny areas during the afternoon.

High pressure next week

Through the middle of the week high pressure becomes centred over the UK. It keeps the weather settled and during the days it becomes quite warm. By Wednesday daytime temperatures could be reaching 18C (64F) in eastern England. The nights are likely to be chilly and patchy frost remains a risk.

By Friday the high pressure centre begins to migrate eastwards. That change may allow colder and showery conditions to move down from the north next weekend. Beyond that the latest guidance suggests another area of high pressure will build in from the west during early April.
