Temperatures range from 10C (50F) in the north west to a warm 18C (64F) in sunny areas. See the rain and precipitation type radar for the latest view.

Tomorrow outbreaks of rain affect Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland. Elsewhere it will be mostly dry, although an odd  shower may pop up. Cloud breaks lead to some warm sunshine, especially in the east.

Cooler this weekend

Friday should be quite warm and bright in southern and central regions. In the north wet and windy weather gradually spreads southwards. Colder and showery conditions follow into Scotland with snow over the mountains.

During Saturday patchy outbreaks of rain associated with a weakening weather front pushes southwards. The rain won't amount to much in the south. In central and northern areas it turns cooler.

Sunday is looking dry and bright in southern and central regions. Temperatures in the south will be lower than in recent days. Wet and windy conditions may return to the north.

Next week high pressure keeps the weather settled. It could be quite chilly in the north and east early on but temperatures should rise again.
