Tomorrow western England and Wales have wet and windy weather. There is also likely to be rain early on in Scotland but that should fade away in the morning. Elsewhere it will be mainly dry.
Meteo France Arpege, forecast temperatures, 15:00 GMT Thu 8th November
On Friday most areas have a dry start dry but heavy outbreaks of rain push into the west and winds strengthen. It is expected to become very wet and windy as an area of low pressure in the Atlantic deepens and pushes towards the UK. Some computer models continue to show wind gusts speed reaching 70mph in western coastal counties.
By Saturday morning the persistent rain should be clearing eastwards to leave a mix of sunshine and showers. The showers could merge into longer spells of rain across the southern half of the UK.
