IMPORTANT: TWO migrated to new servers On Saturday 28th October. There are some known issues which are being worked on at the present time.

Monday starts with scattered showers in eastern areas. In much of the UK there has been a frost but cloudier skies in Northern Ireland and western Scotland have held up temperatures. Through the rest of the day showers continue in the east and an odd one could spread inland. In Northern Ireland and western Scotland thicker cloud may bring some patchy rain but elsewhere it remains mostly dry with sunny spells.

It will be rather cold with temperatures ranging from 5C (41F) in northern Scotland to 10C (50F) in the south. See the rain and lightning radar for the latest view.

Tonight clear spells lead to a frost in central and western regions. In the east showers continue and late in the night more persistent outbreaks of rain push into the south east.

Tomorrow wet and windy weather affects eastern England with most of the rain expected to stay east of London. Elsewhere it should be dry but there will be a lot more cloud than today. The brightest spells are likely to be in western Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Unsettled outlook

During Wednesday some showery rain is possible but there should be a good deal of dry weather. Temperatures in the south will be a little higher than in recent days but generally it stays quite chilly.

The weather during the second half of the week is expected to be unsettled. The wettest periods will be in the north and west, but all areas could see some rain. Temperatures recover as milder air is pumped up from the southwest.

Further information and notices will be posted on the website and Twitter (@TWOweather) during the next 48 hours.
