Very warm early next week

The first half of next week is looking mostly dry and settled in the much of the country but north may remain more changeable. It will become very warm in the south and maximum daytime temperatures could climb into the upper 20Cs.

After mid-week cooler and showery conditions probably push southeastwards. At this stage the Bank Holiday weekend is expected to be mostly dry in the south with close to average temperatures. The north will probably be more changeable and cooler with a greater risk of showers or longer spells of rain.
