Friday starts with wintry showers in the north and patchy outbreaks of rain in southern coastal counties. This morning sunny spells develop in all regions and many places have a dry and crisp day. The north has wintry showers and they will be heavy at times in western coastal counties.
Temperatures range from close to 3C (37F) in Scotland to 8C (48F) near the south coast. See the rainfall and precipitation type radar for the latest view.

The Meteo France Arpege chart below shows forecast pressure and precipitation for 20:00 GMT Monday 27th November. The main area of low pressure is centred over the North Sea but there are suggestions of more disturbances developing near Iceland and pushing southeastwards towards the UK. It should be cold enough for snow over high ground in the north but generally rain is more likely.
