The remnants of Hurricane Ophelia will bring stormy conditions to western and northern parts of the UK tomorrow. Through the rest of the week predominantly unsettled conditions are expected.
Sunday begins with patchy rain in Scotland but elsewhere it is dry. Through the rest of the day central and eastern England have sunny periods. Elsewhere some brighter spells develop but there will be more cloud, and in the north west further rain is likely.
Temperatures range from 10C (50F) in the far north to a warm 21C (70F) in eastern England. See the rainfall radar for the latest view.
Tonight wet weather continues in the north west. Other areas may have some showery rain but it should be mostly dry and very mild.
Tomorrow the remnants of Hurricane Ophelia push northwards towards the UK with computer models showing its centre tracking close to the west of Ireland.
It will pack a punch despite weakening, and stormy conditions could bring disruption to the west and north of the UK. In exposed locations wind gusts of around 80mph are expected and there will be heavy outbreaks of rain in the north west. In contrast the east remains dry and temperatures could approach a very warm 25C (77F).
