The weekend will be warm and fine in the south and east warm. The north west has further wet and windy spells. On Monday the remnants of Hurricane Ophelia are set to bring stormy conditions to parts of the UK.
Saturday starts wet in much of Northern Ireland, northern England and Wales. The rain eases during the day but further outbreaks push into Scotland. It will be windy in the north and west. The southern half of the UK has a warm and bright day.
Temperatures range from 10C (50F) in the far north to 21C (70F) in eastern England. See the rainfall radar for the latest view.
Tonight heavy bursts of rain continue in much of Scotland. Other areas remain dry and very mild.
Tomorrow the north west has wet and windy conditions. Elsewhere it will be warm and sunny.
On Monday the remnants of Hurricane Ophelia push northwards with the centre of the system expected to track just to the west of the UK. Forecast details are uncertain but stormy conditions in the west could bring wind gusts of around 80mph. The east probably remains dry and temperatures could approach 25C (77F).
