Changeable weather continues in the coming days but it will turn very warm in the south and east. Stormy conditions are possible early next week as the warmth is squeezed out by disturbances moving in from the Atlantic.
Wednesday starts wet and windy in much of the north west but southern and eastern counties are dry. The area of heavy rain and strong winds steadily pushes southeastwards and flooding is possible in parts of the north west. By the evening the rain reaches the south east and clearer conditions follow on behind it.
Temperatures range from 10C (50F) in the north to 17C (63F) in the south. See the rainfall radar for the latest view.
Tonight the wet weather clears from the south. Showery rain affects the far north but elsewhere it will be dry.
Tomorrow southern and central areas have a dry and bright day. In the north thicker cloud brings patchy rain.
On Friday wet weather affects the north and west. The south and east stay dry and warm.
Fine and unseasonably warm conditions are expected to last through the weekend in the south and east with 23C (73F) possible by Sunday. The north and west have wet and windy periods.
