The weather will be very mixed this weekend with rain at times. After an unsettled start next week high pressure should bring drier conditions for a time.
Saturday starts with showery rain in places but much of the UK is dry. Through the course more persistent outbreaks of rain develop in the south west and Wales. Elsewhere showery are possible but eastern areas should be have dry and bright periods.
Temperatures range from 12C (54F) in the north to 17C (63F) in the south. See the rainfall radar for the latest view.
Tonight rain pushes eastwards across southern and central England. In the north west and across Northern Ireland wet and windy conditions arrive by the morning. Elsewhere it remains mostly dry.
Tomorrow outbreaks of rain spread eastwards and in the north they are likely to be heavy. During the second half of the day it turns brighter in the north but elsewhere there will be a lot of cloud. It will be windy with gales in the north.
Overnight and through Monday it remains very windy, especially in the north west where gusts could reach 70mph. Rain is likely in the south and the north west.
