The next few days bring mixed conditions but most of the rain is likely to be in the north and west. Next week high pressure could bring a good deal of dry weather.
Tuesday starts mostly dry but it is murky with mist and fog in places. Through the day sunny spells develop but in the weest thicker cloud builds during the afternoon. It should remain dry.
Temperatures range from 10C (50F) in Scotland to 17C (63F) in the south. See the the rainfall radar for the latest view.
Tonight outbreaks of rain spread across Northern Ireland and into western Scotland. Elsewhere it will be mostly dry but cloud amounts increase from the west.
Tomorrow wet and windy weather extends across much of the west. Eastern areas have a dry day and it will feel warmer than recently despite a good deal of cloud. Overnight and during Thursday the wet weather slowly pushes southeastwards.
Friday is looking dry and bright in the east. In the west outbreaks of rain return.
