Showers continue today and tomorrow. The rest of the week looks mixed with spells of rain pushing in from the Atlantic. There is uncertainty about their progression and the south east could end up with quite a lot of dry weather.
Sunday begins murky in much of central and eastern Britain but the west it is brighter. Through the day showers develop in central and eastern England, and at times they will be heavy. Other regions remain mostly dry with sunny spells.
Temperatures range from 10C (50F) in northern Scotland to 16C (61F) in sunny spells farther south. See the the rainfall radar for the latest view.
Tonight the showers retreat back to eastern coastal counties. It will be cold with a ground frost possible in parts of the north and west.
Tomorrow showers break out again. The brightest and warmest conditions are likely in the south west.
Tuesday should be mostly but after a bright start cloud builds in western areas Rain spreads into Northern Ireland and western Scotland overnight.
