Hourly forecast information

Data from the Meteo France Arpege and UK Met Office UKV models can be used to generate the hourly forecast using the buttons at the top.

Which is the best one to use? The answer will vary and may depend on factors such as your location and current weather patterns.

The model data is mapped to latitude - longitude coordinates and additional processing is done.

Two daily updates from each of the models are used.

Rain chance

The % rain chance is calculated by looking at the precipitation forecasts for a 0.4° x 0.4° area.

Example: 50% is displayed. It means there is a 50% chance of rain falling somewhere within the forecast area.

Unlike the Will it rain feature, it is based on data from the selected computer model run only.
