That's cheating, as we haven't had any.

I tell a lie, 'Shergar' paid us a visit to refuel before continuing South, owned by the Aga Khan. She has a top speed of 45 Kts and took on five road tankers which will get her as far as the Med.

Sea Cloud in the foreground and I can't remember the other cruise ship in the background. It might be the Ocean Countess. Eighty cruise ships due to visit us this year.

Good to see you back in here proper, Grant . . . and posting photos as well!

Here's a selection of photos I've taken so far in June . . .

Red Arrows fly-by on Saturday 11th June.

Dawnbreak over the now-disused Folkestone Harbour station. Taken 5th June.

Early morning stroll at Greatstone Beach on 1st June.

Not very summer-like (but does sum up the weather we have had of late!) but spotted this fine example of Altostratus Undulatus on 13th June.

Great pictures everyone and good to see Grant back again. That picture Ian of the station is amazing too. We have loads of sparrows (though not many tits) this year nesting in our garden yet a few years back they were in steep decline according to the BTO. No pics from me at the moment as we have had no summer so to speak of - just autumnal style gales and rain.

We are pleased though that Country Life (June 22nd) have used one of our summer 2009 rock pooling pics for an article by Nick Fisher on the joys of eating the results of a trip to the seaside.

Alot of sparrows here, too. There was a dozen of them on my shed roof the other day and one nearly flew into my kitchen!
