Final October total here is 95mm, (166% average) meaning it's the 5th wettest October I've recorded over the last 40 years, and the 4th consecutive wet October recorded.

I just count it all as October till 9am.

But I did glance at a Wunderground station at Bramhope this morning and it showed just short of 6mm for today after Midnight, so guess that is your answer .

19.0 mm today, most of it on this side of 12 pm. A particularly soggy start to a brand new month.
