Here in Edinburgh, we have (er!!..) typical Edinburgh weather which is just as boring and uninteresting as it usually is here.
Today has started off on a dull and overcast note, but with nothing in the way of any sort of actual "weather" which could be considered to be the least bit "interesting".
The rain radar maps are showing some light rain here and there is just a tiny amount of drizzle in the air, but this has barely been enough to even dampen the ground in any way, let alone provide us with any actual recorded rainfall at any of my local stations and everything still looks more or less as bone dry as ever here.
However, last night was already much warmer than of late with much warmer nights than that still to come in the next day or so.
Last night's overnight minimum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank was 14.3°C.
Meanwhile, the temperature at 9am BST (08:00 UTC) was already at around 19°C here in Edinburgh so even at this very stage of today, we can easily see that it could actually end up getting quite hot here if and when the Sun comes out later on.
