First time in 8 days I've not woken up to strong sun! Foggy here in Grasmere and 14 C. The North Sea muck has spread in as far as the Lakes this morning. Things are a changing ☹

16.0c and misty with low cloud.
Automated forecast shows sun not breaking through until 4pm, text forecast says early cloud will clear to leave a sunny day. As usual I reckon the automated forecast is more reliable.

Much cooler late yesterday with stronger wind from east, some drizzle after dark but that's stopped and it's 15C

Another dull, dreary, depressing and soul destroying start to yet another morning here in Edinburgh with yet another permacast hell to begin the day.

Last night was actually slightly warmer than the previous night with an overnight minimum temperature of 15.4°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank and the temperature here in Edinburgh at 8am this morning was around 16°C.

17dc brightening up through thin cloud. Think will be last ‘hot’ day here. First week of my holidays next week doesn't look great 😞

Keswick is already 26 C again! I've travelled south east to the Yorkshire Dales into the cooler air coming off the North Sea. It's 21 C here which feels cool after my week in the scorching Lakes! Quite sunny though

The Sun has now broken through here in Edinburgh yet again, but it isn't really all that warm here with a temperature of just around 18°C here in Edinburgh as at 2pm this afternoon along with a cool wind from off the North Sea.

I’ve spent the past week grumbling about being sticky and stifled but not today. It’s a complete change, no sunshine, fresh and feeling a lot cooler at 20c.  Why is there no in between!!!

now 25dc, only very light cloud. Bit more of a breeze and doesn't feel quite as warm, so probably not far off perfect

It may only be 19C here today (in a gusty NE'ly), but it's far from fresh - the dewpoint is still stubbornly high, albeit 15.4C rather than the 19s and 20s we've endured of late. It feels muggy, or even clammy as a result.

TBH I'm looking forward to some genuinely fresher air next week... it'll be lovely to have dewpoints in the low double-digits again!

Has been a fine day with plenty of sunshine and only varied high cloud, even the max of 21.9 C at 3.15 pm felt very warm in the hazy sunshine when sheltered from the east breeze.

Increasing high cloud, 17.4 C & 88% h with still that mod E breeze currently.

Sadly looks like today was the last garden chair day for what may well be quite a while.
